La Casa de la Terraza Verde VEDADO

The Casa de la Terraza Verde VEDADO is in one of the most residential and interesting neighborhoods in Havana, Vedado. Located very close to the Casa de la Música Miramar, the famous Cuban Art Factory (F.A.C.), the 1830 Hall and the Charles Chaplin Cinema Hall. In the surroundings there are very popular cafes (such as El Vampirito), restaurants and bars (such as Doña Juana, Vintage or Madrigal). Located 3 blocks from Linea Street and 4 from 23rd Street (two very important avenues, where “collective” taxis circulate).

Home
Two-storey building, built in 1935. The hosts live on the ground floor and the tourist rental area is located on the first floor. Its large terrace, which gives the establishment its name, is striking. It is a magnificent space to talk, relax, enjoy a good breakfast outdoors or have a good time reading a book.

The room
In practice it is almost an apartment. It has absolute privacy, independence and the terrace is for exclusive use. It has a simple kitchen and a living room. It has a double bed, a single bed and a sofa that can become a bed. Private bathroom, iron for clothes, air conditioning, minibar, coffee maker, TV, hairdryer ...

Services
Laundry (washing and ironing) Breakfast: rich and generous (continental type). Perfect to start the day with a lot of energy. It is recommended to book it at the same time as the accommodation. Dinner: home cooking, seasonal products and market. Excellent meals, well done, generous servings and good side dishes.

The hosts
We are a family of 4 members. Two sons and marriage. One of the sons is already a music graduate (flutist and jazz player) and professor at the National School of Art. The other studies computer science at the Pedagogical University. My wife is a Dra. In Arts, accomplished pianist and professor at the University of the Arts and at the two Conservatories of Havana. Her hobby: cooking. I am a Mechanical Engineer and my passion is my VolksWagen 1960, Beatle. We all speak Spanish and English.
